MP Yaroslav Zheleznyak (Holos faction) has released a new series of so-called “Mindich tapes,” consisting of three parts. He posted the video with the corresponding recordings on his YouTube channel.
According to the MP, the recordings contain fragments of conversations between businessman Timur Mindich and then-Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on July 8, 2025. In them, according to Zheleznyak, the interlocutors discuss possible government appointments, candidacies for the position of Ukraine’s ambassador to the United States, and the so-called “Project 23.”
Among the possible candidates mentioned in the fragments of the recordings are Denys Shmyhal, Herman Galushchenko, Olga Stefanishyna, and Svitlana Grinchuk, whom, according to the MP, the interlocutors allegedly considered as one of the key candidates for a diplomatic position in the United States.
Separately, the video mentions “Project 23,” which, according to Zheleznyak, may relate to the discussion of a certain financial scheme involving third parties. At the same time, the MP emphasized that he does not have the full context of the conversations and plans to publish the materials in the future.
According to him, the published recordings probably come from the defense of one of the defendants in the Mindich case, which, in his opinion, is confirmed by the format of the documents.
At the same time, the authenticity of the published recordings has not yet been independently confirmed. No public reaction from Timur Mindich, Rustem Umerov, or their representatives has been recorded at the time of publication.
The situation may develop further in the event of official comments from the parties or a legal assessment of the published materials.
