The Bureau of Economic Security has completed the first stage of certification of management staff. According to its results, 12 employees successfully passed the assessment, and the personnel renewal covered 74% of the Bureau’s management.
This was reported by the Director of the Bureau, Oleksandr Tsyvinsky.
The Bureau announced a large-scale personnel reset
The first stage of certification concerned the heads of departments of the central office and their deputies, as well as the heads of territorial departments of the Bureau and their deputies.
According to Tsyvinsky, the result of the process was the reset of 74% of the Bureau’s management staff.
He previously reported that more than 64% of the managers who were subject to evaluation at the first stage left the service or were unable to pass the certification.
For an agency that is simultaneously being reformed and continues to perform tasks to combat economic crimes, the Director of the Bureau called such personnel changes unprecedented.
How many managers have reached the certification
In June, Tsyvinsky reported that 50 employees were subject to evaluation in the first stage.
18 managers then reached the interviews. Another 21 employees left BEB before the certification began, and seven resigned during its passage.
Four managers could not get the required passing score and were dismissed by the decisions of the certification commissions.
According to the results of the first stage, 12 employees successfully passed the certification.
Second stage: over 900 employees are being evaluated
The personnel reset of BEB does not end there. The second stage of certification is currently underway.
915 employees underwent evaluation, of which 887 received a passing score.
The next test for them will be interviews with certification commissions, after which the final results of this stage will be determined.
BEB to recruit over 60 new employees
In parallel with the re-certification of current staff, the Bureau is preparing for another team expansion.
According to Tsyvinsky, the fourth wave of recruitment should start in the near future, within which it is planned to attract over 60 new employees.
Thus, the BEB reform simultaneously involves a reassessment of the current staff, a significant renewal of management, and a competitive selection of new employees.
