The National Cashback program continues to operate in Ukraine, within the framework of which drivers can receive partial compensation for fuel costs. At the same time, users are already faced with situations where cashback is not accrued – and in such cases it is important to know what to do.
How cashback works
The program provides for the return of part of the funds for refueling at gas stations that are participants in the initiative. The amount of compensation is:
15% – for diesel fuel;
10% – for gasoline;
5% – for autogas.
You can receive a maximum of UAH 1,000 per month for fuel, while the total limit in the program is up to UAH 3,000.
Cashback is usually displayed in the Diya application the next day after purchase, but sometimes delays of up to seven days are possible.
Why cashback may not be accrued
Among the main reasons:
no permission to transfer transaction data in the banking application;
payment processing delay due to technical issues;
the bank did not transmit payment information;
the gas station does not participate in the program.
What should drivers do
If cashback has not arrived, you should act in stages:
Check your bank card settings and data transfer permissions.
Wait at least 1–2 days after the purchase.
If there is no charge, contact the bank.
Submit an application via the chat bot in Diya, adding a photo of the fiscal receipt.
Experts emphasize: most cashback problems are related to the technical nuances of data transfer, so they can be solved without unnecessary difficulties.
