Salaries reached 70 thousand hryvnias: which professions have become the most profitable in Kyiv

In June 2026, the average salary of representatives of certain professions in Kyiv exceeded 70 thousand hryvnias. Employers continue to increase wages due to the shortage of qualified personnel and high competition for specialists.

According to the Work.ua personnel portal, orthopedic doctors showed the greatest growth over the year. The average salary of such specialists reached 70 thousand hryvnias, which is 56% more compared to the same period last year.

Among the highly paid professions were also directors of construction projects with an average salary of 70 thousand hryvnias, car painters and dentists – 75 thousand hryvnias each, business analysts – 76 thousand hryvnias, auto electricians and chief engineers – about 70 thousand hryvnias per month.

A significant increase in income is also observed in the construction industry. In particular, the average salary of bricklayers increased from 42 to 70 thousand hryvnias per year, which indicates a high demand for labor specialties.

At the same time, the average salary in Kyiv for all vacancies is currently 35 thousand hryvnias. Over the past year, this figure has increased by 17%, reflecting the general trend towards higher wages in the Ukrainian labor market.

Experts note that employers are increasingly forced to revise the level of salaries in order to attract and retain qualified specialists in conditions of personnel shortage.
