The High Council of Justice dismissed two judges, another issue was postponed

The High Council of Justice has adopted a decision on the dismissal of judges under general circumstances. Based on the results of consideration of resignation applications, the High Council of Justice approved the dismissal of two judges, while it was decided to postpone the issue of another servant of Themis.

The following were dismissed:

Hanna Smelyanets – judge of the Commercial Court of Odessa region;

Hennadiy Kravchuk – judge of the Northern Appeal Commercial Court.

Both judges left their positions in connection with the submission of resignation applications.

At the same time, the High Council of Justice, after discussion, postponed consideration of the issue of dismissal of Volodymyr Oliynyk, judge of the Nizhyn City District Court of Chernihiv region.

We remind you that the personnel renewal of the judicial system is ongoing. According to the High Council of Justice, during January – June 2026, a decision was made to dismiss 105 judges on various grounds provided for by law.
