“Ukraine needs Ukrainians”: Ihor Harbaruk spoke out against the mass recruitment of labor migrants

Ihor Garbaruk stated that Ukraine should not rely on the mass recruitment of labor migrants during the war, but should create conditions for the return of its own citizens.

“I clearly believe that Ukraine needs Ukrainians. The state should focus all its efforts not on attracting people from the lowest social groups from other countries,” Garbaruk emphasized.

According to him, among Ukrainian war migrants in Europe are millions of children, women, and highly qualified specialists, whom the country risks losing.

“We must fight for them, and not for people who came from conditional Bangladesh or Pakistan, who do not know either the language or the culture,” the expert noted.
