The Russian Defense Ministry has published a list of 21 companies that, according to it, are involved in the production of Ukrainian drones.

The list includes, in particular, enterprises from the Hesse region and the city of Munich. The Russian department called them the “strategic rear” of Ukraine.

Threats of strikes and “secret operations”

The Russian side stated that these companies could become targets for military strikes or covert operations. Such formulations caused a sharp reaction in Europe.

Local authorities in Germany regarded these statements as an attempt to pressure and intimidate businesses that support Ukraine.

Germany’s reaction: an attempt at intimidation will not work

The mayor of Hanau said that such threats will not affect the position of either the city or the country as a whole.

Germany emphasizes that support for Ukraine, particularly in the field of defense production, will remain unchanged despite information and political pressure from the Russian Federation.

Europe Increases Military Assistance to Ukraine

In parallel with these developments, partner countries continue to scale up their support for Ukraine.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy recently made a series of international visits — to Norway, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands — where he discussed defense assistance, including air defense systems and joint weapons production.

A Ramstein meeting was also held, and the United Kingdom announced a new large-scale aid package.

Up to $17 billion in support, but with a delayed effect

Allies have announced $16-17 billion in new military assistance to Ukraine.

However, a significant part of this support — including ballistic missile interceptors — will only arrive in the coming years, underscoring the long-term nature of international support.
