The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has decided to provide additional funding for the state program “eRecovery” in the amount of 2 billion hryvnias. This will provide compensation to almost 20 thousand Ukrainian families whose housing was damaged as a result of Russian shelling. This was announced by the Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.

The allocated funds will be used to repair housing of varying degrees of damage. In particular, payments of up to 200 thousand hryvnias are provided for objects with minor damage. In cases of more serious damage, compensation will be up to 350 thousand hryvnias for apartments and up to 500 thousand hryvnias for private houses.

According to official data, the “eRecovery” program has already demonstrated a significant scale: as of today, more than 139 thousand families have received compensation for a total of 13.5 billion hryvnias. This indicates the systematic work of the state in the field of restoring the housing stock destroyed as a result of the war.

Citizens can apply for assistance in several ways: through the “Diya” application, at administrative service centers, or through a notary. Applications are still being accepted, allowing victims to continue to count on state support.

Expanding the program’s funding is an important step in restoring housing infrastructure and supporting citizens affected by armed aggression, and also demonstrates the priority of social protection in state policy.
