The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has announced a large-scale recruitment for the digital vertical of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, more than 2 thousand vacancies have been opened for specialists in the field of IT, analytics, project management and digital transformation.
Why was the digital vertical created
As reported by the Ministry of Defense, the digital vertical has already been deployed at all levels – from individual units to the General Staff and military command bodies.
The main goal of the initiative is to accelerate the implementation of modern technologies in the army, optimize internal processes and gradually eliminate paper bureaucracy.
Specialists will work on the implementation of digital solutions, data analysis, support of IT products and modernization of internal processes in military structures.
What specialists are needed
Within the digital vertical, candidates are being sought in six key areas:
digital transformation managers;
project managers;
data analysts;
business analysts;
product support specialists;
technical writers – specialists for the preparation of technical documentation.
The Ministry of Defense notes that such specialists will help to more quickly implement useful digital tools directly in military units.
Who can apply
Both military personnel and civilian specialists with experience in IT, analytics, management or digital transformation can join the project. Among the features of the recruitment:
no restrictions on age and military rank;
the opportunity to receive the rank of “junior lieutenant” simultaneously with the appointment;
selection through interviews and technical interviews.
