Ukraine is forming a new export direction

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Ukraine has already received requests from 11 countries for the supply of domestic drones. These are primarily the states of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf, as well as a promising entry into the markets of the Caucasus.

In fact, Ukraine is beginning to form a new strategic export direction – high-tech defense products.

Drone Deal: a bet on long-term partnership

The Drone Deal initiative will be a key instrument, within the framework of which it is planned to conclude at least ten international agreements.

This is not only about the sale of drones, but about a much broader format of cooperation:

joint production,
creation of production lines in Ukraine and abroad,
development of new technologies in partnership with foreign investors.

According to the president, preliminary agreements have already been reached on financing for several years ahead with clearly defined production volumes.

Investments and technologies are a two-way street

The cooperation model involves a mutually beneficial exchange: international partners invest in production, and Ukraine shares combat experience and technological solutions proven in modern warfare.

Thus, the Ukrainian defense-industrial complex is gradually integrating into global production chains.

The European direction is already active

In particular, Volodymyr Zelenskyy emphasized the development of cooperation with European partners. Work has already begun with countries such as Germany, Italy, Norway, Sweden, and the Netherlands.

Ukraine also expects to further deepen its partnership with the United Kingdom and France.

A new level of defense diplomacy

The expansion of drone exports and the launch of joint production indicate the transformation of Ukraine from an importer of security solutions into a full-fledged player in the global defense market.

This is not only an economic breakthrough, but also an element of a new defense diplomacy, where technology is becoming a key tool of international partnership.
