Yermak denied all charges

Former head of the President’s Office Andriy Yermak stated after a meeting at the Supreme Court that all his actions since the beginning of the full-scale invasion were aimed solely at protecting Ukraine and ensuring the functioning of the state in wartime.

According to Yermak, since February 24, 2022, the president’s team has been working virtually continuously. He emphasized that he deliberately remained in the President’s Office in the first hours of the invasion and performed his duties around the clock.

“Lived in the President’s Office from the first days of the war”

After the court hearing, Yermak categorically rejected all charges brought against him. He emphasized that since the beginning of the war he had lived in the President’s Office, accompanied President Volodymyr Zelensky during trips to the front, and also participated in international negotiations to support Ukraine.

Separately, he emphasized that all foreign visits were official and of an exclusively business nature.

Negotiations with the US and international support

According to Yermak, during trips to the US and other countries, issues of military assistance, diplomatic support, and strengthening the international coalition in support of Ukraine were discussed.

The former head of the OP also stated that it was thanks to the unity of Ukrainians and the constant work of the authorities that it was possible to preserve the independence of the state and strengthen Ukraine’s position in the international arena.

Statement in court and public outcry

With his statement in court, Yermak tried to emphasize that during the most difficult period for the country, he remained in office and worked in the interests of the state.

He emphasized that the first months of the full-scale war became a period of continuous work and struggle for the existence of the country for the Ukrainian authorities.
