The HQCJ continues to evaluate candidates for the courts of appeal of Kharkiv and Lviv: new decisions announced

The High Qualification Commission of Judges of Ukraine continues the qualification assessment of candidates for the positions of judges of courts of appeal. During the board meeting on June 30, the Commission conducted interviews with candidates for the Kharkiv Court of Appeal and the Lviv Court of Appeal and adopted a number of personnel decisions.
Within the framework of the competition for the Kharkiv Court of Appeal, interviews with four candidates were held that day.
According to the results of the consideration:
Larysa Golnyk — a break was announced until July 7, 2026;
Volodymyr Stryhunenko — consideration of the issue was postponed;
Oleksandr Tkachenko — a break was announced until July 9, 2026;
Olena Fedorova — scored 741.35 points and was recommended for consideration by the Commission in plenary session to confirm the ability to administer justice.
In total, 62 candidates for 47 vacant positions submitted documents for the competition for the Kharkiv Court of Appeal. As of today, interviews have already been conducted with 46 candidates.
Of these:
31 candidates confirmed their ability to administer justice;
7 candidates failed the assessment;
8 candidates are awaiting consideration by the plenary of the Commission;
2 candidates have withdrawn from the competition;
the assessment of one candidate has been suspended.
Separately, on the same day, the HQCJ conducted interviews with two candidates for the Lviv Court of Appeal.
According to the results:
Oksana Panchak — received 737.54 points and was recommended for further consideration;
Oleksandr Kitov — withdrew from the competition due to the presence of disciplinary sanctions.
We remind you that 55 candidates are applying for 28 vacant positions in the Lviv Court of Appeal. So far, 53 of them have already passed the interviews.
According to the results:
39 candidates have confirmed their ability to administer justice;
10 candidates did not confirm their eligibility;
4 candidates will be heard in the plenary session of the Commission;
2 candidates withdrew from the competition.
The HQCJ notes that the competition procedure is ongoing, and final decisions regarding some candidates are still ahead.
