A new MP has appeared in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. During the plenary session on June 11, political scientist and public figure Mykola Davydiuk, who entered the parliament from the Holos party, took the oath.

Davydiuk became a MP after the early termination of Volodymyr Tsabal’s powers. At the end of May, the Verkhovna Rada supported the decision to deprive Tsabal of his deputy mandate, after which the Central Election Commission recognized Mykola Davydiuk as an elected MP from the Holos party’s electoral list.

Mykola Davydiuk ran for the Verkhovna Rada in the 2019 snap parliamentary elections in a nationwide multi-mandate district from this political force.
