For Ukrainians who are in Poland and Italy and apply for documents through the State Enterprise “Dokument”, new registration rules have been introduced since June 1. From now on, in order to pre-register for the electronic queue, it is necessary to undergo verification via Diya.Pidpys.

This was reported on the official website of the State Enterprise “Dokument”.

Registration via Diya.Pidpys: what has changed

The new rules have been introduced in test mode.

Now, when registering online for service centers, Ukrainians must confirm their identity via Diya.Pidpys. The company explains that this will help:

organize the electronic queue;

reduce the load on the centers;

avoid abuses with booking seats.
In Italy – only an electronic queue

In Italy, in particular in Milan, citizens will now be accepted exclusively by prior online registration.

It will no longer be possible to receive a coupon without registering on site.

Poland has left a “live” queue

In Polish service centers, Ukrainians can still:

register online;
or use the “live” queue.

However, the State Enterprise “Dokument” advises using electronic registration to avoid long waits.

The number of coupons for visitors without a prior appointment is limited:

Warsaw – up to 60 people per day;

Wroclaw – up to 40;

Gdansk – up to 30;

Krakow – up to 30.

What services are available without an appointment

Without an electronic queue, Ukrainians can still:

submit documents for an apostille;

arrange the delivery of finished documents;

receive already made passports.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs promises to reduce queues

Minister of Foreign Affairs Andriy Sybiga previously stated that Ukraine is working to speed up the processing and delivery of passports for citizens abroad.

According to him, the problem with the shortage of forms has already been resolved, and the delivery times for documents have been reduced.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs also plans to:

simplify bureaucratic procedures;
automate some processes;
introduce separate personalized queues for certain categories of citizens.

The department emphasizes that passport processing remains the most popular consular service for Ukrainians abroad – it accounts for more than 60% of all applications.
